As a Lake Tahoe wedding photographer, I often find myself feeling so blessed to witness and capture the pure romance that love creates during a couple's engagement session. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the engagement session of this adorable couple, Devon and Amanda, who visited from out of town to celebrate their love at the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Tahoe.
Devon and Amanda radiated an infectious energy from the moment we met. They shared with excitement both their dreams of one day calling Lake Tahoe home and building their careers together. The picturesque setting of Lake Tahoe seemed to resonate with their aspirations, offering a perfect canvas for their sweet little love story together.
Our engagement session began just before sunset, and the warm hues of the descending sun played beautifully against the natural beauty that surrounded us. Lake Tahoe's massive boulders, beautiful sand and gorgeous clear- blue waters was the dreamiest location and quite the perfect one for D + A.

These two melted my heart. Their love was obvious and they shared one another's playful sense of humor, making us all laugh, setting the tone for a
memorable photoshoot.
D + A's playful interactions added a delightful charm to the session. Whether it was an inside joke between the two, or just talk of how they met, their love unfolded effortlessly before my lens. I couldn't help but admire the authenticity of their relationship.
As the sun set, we made our way to the beach near a lovely cove. The fading light cast a romantic glow, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The couple, wrapped in each other's arms, cozied up under a blanket and had the sweetest view of Tahoe and some very friendly ducks that decided to stick around them for a bit of the shoot. The gentle lapping of the waves provided a soothing soundtrack as I captured the D + A's stolen kisses and heartfelt whispers. The connection between them both was undeniable, creating a series of images that not only freeze moments in time but also tell a story of love, dreams, and the promise of a shared future. In those moments on the beach, I could totally see love reflected in their eyes, dreams of a life filled with passion, laughter, and the serene beauty of Lake Tahoe. It was such an honor to be part of this chapter in their love story, and I'm grateful to when I get to witness such a heartfelt engagement session, I love it!
